The cute girl at the window

Getting into a train, jostling through the crowd, for me has always been an adventure as i would leave either myslf or my luggage on the platform. But that day on my way to Mumbai, I decided not to leave either of the two. Entering the train I did not have much trouble finding my seat since it was located close to the door and strategically close to the toilet so that I'd greeted with all sorts of smells from in there time and again.
'Hared luck buddy, no window seat this time' I thought, as I sat down reluctantly. Just then, I saw a three year old ,cute, fat girl with two cut ponies emerge through the door with a smile as if she'd emerged victorious from a battle, followed by a lady I took for her Mom.I soon realized that the mother and the child did not have any resrvation but the girle , with her 'cho chweet' smile managed to win a window seat from a Parsi aunty. But she didn't seem to have the mind of sitting at one place.
She danced throughout the compartment talking to almost everyone in her lispering tone .Everyone in there, seemed to enjoy the conversation with her ( but I doubt if anyboody understood anything of whatever she was saying) I too enjoyed some cho chweet moments with her albeit I envied her so much for the window seat I aspired so much for.
At a mid station halt, the girl got down from the train to buy something. And I took that golden opportunity to take possession of the window seat. When the girl came back, she saw me at her seat and was certainly disappointed but couldn't say anything as the seat was not reserved. She sat on a seat opposite to me with her cute face , sunken. And within five minutes, something in me made me get up and offer her that seat ,and for the first time in 17 years of my life , made me feel so sorry for having grown up!!!!!!!

A very cute and humane incident . Though the kid was real non violent in not saying anything when u took away her seat. A decently spoilt kid would have cried her lungs out , jumped on you and even bit you if she had been watching too many action movies .

Note - And now , dont thank me :).I am just another guy who writes a blog.

who had grown up. No way . One grows up hidding the childish like character inside ourself. every timt it tries to finds its way to surface but our over catious attitude of reputation and the fear of how the society will look at us tames the child back inside us.

I have never grown up. I am still grow up.

It is quite possible that even in your thirties you may still want the window seat! And I am speaking from first hand experience.
