Of Santa Claus and Physics Text............

First of all, No, this blog is not closed. True, I, did not rather could not write for quite a long time but being unable to bear the agony of separation from my only love my blog, I have decided to write. These days with a liberal dose of studies and the nearing exams, I am getting nightmares of huge magnetic dipoles chasing me in a playground-sized electric field. Even when I wake up, I look around for galvanometers and electrical circuits. Even when my physics paper is waiting like a dragon with the mouth wide open to gulp me down tomorrow, I have gathered courage to write. Anyways, on such a chilling Christmas night, physics is the last topic I would like to scribble on.
Its 10 pm in the night and except for chanda mama nobody without sweaters here. In my city, winters are foggy and actually cold unlike most of the cities in India where people know its winter in this time of the year only because they are taught so in school. But here winters the best time of the year when you start your day with a hot cup of coffee and a smiling sun.
While braving out such a winter, an empty mailbox can only add to the chill. But along with Christmas, spring soon brings the warmth of friendship that pours in with the New Year wishes. By the New Year the frequency of these fancy messages and forwards increases so much making you feel you are the friendliest person in the world. (Though some of these forwards are so highly poetic and irrelevant that you may have to spend the entire year trying to find their coherency or rhyme scheme)
So guys, wish you a very chilling Christmas full of cakes, chocolates, carols and lots of fun. Also, wish you a very happy new year. May this year bring you lots of those forwards and all that’s written in those forwards....
I will stop now. All one should be doing on such a perfect Christmas night is creep into a cozy blanket and wait for Santa Claus to drop gift in your socks. But yeh kambakht physics text. I am still left with three Adnan Sami sized derivations. So for the next few hours mein chanda mama ko company doongi so that at least this time, Santa Claus drops some readable marks on my report card!!!

Happy New year...I can actually empathise with you coz for good 5 years in college I used to have my most dreaded paper(that too external exam) either on 26th Dec or 1st Jan. So while others used to party, my xmas n new year eves used to be spent cramming those 50 kg books.
